Iran’s Dangerous ‘Weapon’ Active Across the U.S., Report Raises Alarms for Trump (Source: tv9hindi)
As soon as U.S. President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, a wave of relief swept through Washington and much of the world. However, despite the ceasefire, a recent U.S. intelligence report suggests that this move might come at a steep cost for Trump.
According to a British daily newspaper, security experts believe that Iran could launch its real retaliation on American soil—via sleeper cells. This development is sounding alarms not just for Trump but for the entire U.S. security system. These sleeper cells, while appearing to live normal lives, can become active at any time.
Sleeper cells are individuals who appear to be ordinary civilians—holding jobs and blending into society—but are, in fact, linked to foreign intelligence networks. Once they receive the green signal, they can carry out attacks, engage in blackmail, or sabotage strategic targets.
The report reveals that Iranian agents are hiding in American cities, operating through Iranian or criminal networks to carry out missions. There have been past instances where Iranian agents were caught attempting assassinations or kidnappings on U.S. soil. It’s also believed that some of these agents have been preparing for cyberattacks and drone strikes from within the U.S.
The report further warns that Iranian-American citizens or immigrants of Iranian origin, who are vulnerable to blackmail, could also be recruited for such missions.
Donald Trump has publicly claimed that border security weakened under the Biden administration, allowing several Iranian agents to infiltrate the country. He has issued a stern warning regarding these ‘super cells’.
According to an Indian English daily newspaper, more than 1,500 Iranian nationals have been detained at the border, but over half were released inside the U.S. However, experts believe the actual number could be much higher.
